Rustic Inspiration Photo Shoot by SH Weddings and Hanle Productions
What happens when I join forces with the fabulous Brittany at Hanle Productions? Well, a super fun day at an amazing location with beautiful fall weather and treats a plenty! Oh yeah, and a pretty sweet inspiration photo shoot that kind of looks like this:
For local Illinois brides, we cannot recommend this venue, Oak Hill, enough. The 170-acre property is family owned, and everyone who assisted couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Oak Hill has everything a bride and groom could need for their wedding day including a beautiful chapel to get married in, an adorable schoolhouse for a great photo opportunity, an old-fashioned country store, a gorgeous barn for an intimate reception, plenty of grounds for a larger tented wedding, two beautiful rooms and a bathroom to get ready in, several barns, home to the property's horses, more scenery that's perfect for photos than you could have ever imagined and many, many vintage props scattered around that make for the perfect photo.

Whitney and Taylor: Part III, The Wedding Day
And we conclude Whitney and Taylor's love story with their wedding day! Also captured by Alicia at Oakstream Photography, let's all shake our tail feathers for these two!
Whitney and Taylor Part II: Bride and Groom Session
Alicia at Oakstream Photography calls these sessions "groomals," and I kind of love that word. When I last left you, I had just shared Whitney and Taylor's amazing e-session, but we're just getting warmed up here. Let's take a look at Whitney and Taylor's pre-wedding session, and after that, be sure to stop by and give Oakstream Photography's blog some love, too!
And the winner is ...
It's time we announce the winner of our giveaway with Hanle Productions and SH Weddings! Are you ready for this? And the lucky couple is ...
Dana and Shane!
Dana's best friend of 12 years nominated this adorable couple for the giveaway, and we couldn't resist their story. Dana's father passed away in 2001, and he grew up in Hungary until he escaped communism and came to the U.S. Shane knew how important Dana's heritage was to her, and he proposed on Margaret Island in Budapest, Hungary. They snuck away one morning and went to the market to get food for a picnic. Shane said he wanted to take Dana on “a date” to the island. Right after they unwrapped their food, Shane told Dana that he had something for her that she should have before she got her fingers greasy. So cute! The trip extra special because Shane also got to meet her dad’s side of the family, since they all still live in Hungary.
Dana and Shane are full-time students and also work full-time jobs. I simply don't know how they do it. Dana's best friend told us that professional photography just wasn't in their budget, and that broke our hearts! They're planning a great barn wedding with a vintage picnic feel, and we couldn't be happier to offer our services to such a great couple.
Congratulations Dana and Shane!
