Real Florida E-Session: Tiffany and Mike

Hello, hello, everyone! I was absolutely smitten when I saw these photos waiting for me in my inbox. Photographed by the very talented Florida-based Jordan Weiland, I love how natural, calm, but very stylish these photos are. I'm so partial to sessions that incorporate fruits (Ah! Florida oranges! How appropriate!) just because it automatically gives a very ethereal and organic quality to the photos, which I absolutely love. Tiffany and Rick are such an adorable couple, and I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!

Real New York Wedding: Amy and Eric

And we continue with the Northeast today in another beautiful autumn real wedding taking place in Upstate New York. I'm personally excited about this wedding because it took place in Cold Spring, NY, very close where Mr. Owl and I first lived together (awww!). But mostly, I'm just obsessed with Amy and Eric's style. Eric is a photographer himself, so of course, this couple wouldn't just settle for anyone to photograph their wedding. They hired Florida-based Divine Light Photography, and they captured the day perfectly. I love Divine Light! And now, I love Amy ad Eric. Enjoy, everyone!

Real Colorado Wedding: Marie and Brett

Hello, everyone! Today we're featuring a real Colorado wedding, photographed by Michele at MMB Photography. Marie and Brett pulled off an elegant, mid-Western affair with lots of style and heart at Allenspark, CO's Wild Basin Lodge. Let's all give a warm Owl welcome to Marie and Brett!

Marie's favorite part of the day was the carriage ride they took after the ceremony, where the shared champagne, snacks and took in the breath-taking views.

And finally, what's Marie's advice for future brides?

"Be honest with your to-be spouse about the things that interest you as a couple so the day celebrates both of your interests, which also provides insight to friends and family about who you are as a couple.

There are a lot of decisions to make that can be over whelming. Try to make it fun over diners and drinks. It also makes a great excuse to enjoy your time with friends and family and at the end of the wedding day you can be proud that most of the choices you made were yours to share in future memories."

Vendors for this wedding:
Bride's gown - Priscilla of Boston
Groom and groomsmen - Men's Wearhouse (jackets); Wrangler PBR Jeans
Groom's hat - Greenley Hat Works

So many thanks to Michele at MMB Photography for sharing these photos with us today! Be sure to check out her blog for more beautiful wedding inspiration. Marie and Brett, thank you for sharing your wedding day story with us, and I'm wishing you many years of happy memories together!
