Ballet Chic With Martha Stewart Weddings

Happy Monday, everyone!

I'm thrilled about today's post. You see, the ballet holds a special place in my heart, as it's a huge part of my past. So imagine my excitement when I got nuzzled into my couch yesterday afternoon, blankets perfectly spread over my legs, tootsies nice and warm and I cracked open my new issue of Martha Stewart Weddings to find an entire bridal fashion shoot devoted to the ballet. AND, and, the models are dancers from the American Ballet Theater. Ahhh! I almost yelped out in happiness. So, today my dear readers, I'm sharing these truly amazing photos with you because I'm just cool like that (but, if you enjoy all things weddings, or fashion, or ballet, you might want to run out to get your very own copy of MSW Magazine just for your own collection).

I present to you, an evening at the ballet:

10 Things I'm Lovin' This Week

I'm taking a break from wedding inspiration today to bring you 10 things that I'm lovin' this week. In no particular order, here we go!

Photobucket
The Home Grown Dress from Anthropologie. I love the colors and how the cut could flatter almost any body type. It's definitely twirl worthy!

Photobucket
The Blue Bird Blouse from Anthropologie. I love the way it drapes, and the pattern is so vintagey!

Photobucket
The Baker Cloche by Anthropologie. I love hats, and this one has so much style. Perfect for Spring!

Photobucket
The Crossbody Hobo Bag at The Limited. I love the light caramel color, and it's a great, slouchy weekend bag.

Photobucket
Mossimo Wakana Wedges in yellow at Target. I actually bought these, and they're super cute and super comfortable! They have a great 70s vintage vibe, and go so perfectly with a pair of high-waisted jeans I have.

Photobucket
Vintage Bowl from ABC Home and Carpet. Ah, swoon!

Photobucket
Owl Note Cards by Etsy seller sammis2shoes. Ah, how cute!

Photobucket
The March 2010 issue of Better Homes and Gardens. Easy perk-ups couldn't come at a better time this winter, and I LOVE the yellow ranunculuses on the cover!

Photobucket
Huggable Hangers. These things have changed my life. More closet space, and my camis don't slide right off the hanger!

Get ready to be wowed by today's day-after session! Photographed by the talented team at Forever Photography, Kathy and Robert took to the runway with their plane, which made for some amazingly stylish photos. I love it when couples do something different for their day-after sessions, and this one is one of my favorites I've seen. Take a look!
